Born and raised in Central Illinois, Ben graduated from Illinois State University in 2022 and jumped right into the world of karaoke hosting. Since then, he’s become a staple of the local karaoke scene, known for his welcoming vibe, sense of humor, and ability to get the whole room singing along.

While he’s a talented guitarist, Ben saves his stage time for karaoke nights, where he mixes crowd-pleasing country hits with unexpected surprises like Wheeler Walker Jr. songs or jumping in on a rock anthem.

When he’s not behind the mic, Ben’s a dedicated dog dad, splitting time between his girlfriend's dog Toothless and his family’s beagle.

Alex Swanson—aka The Alex Swanson Situation—is one of Six Strings Club’s karaoke DJs and a fan favorite for his easygoing style and crowd energy. Born and raised in Central Illinois, Alex graduated from Illinois State University in 2019 with a degree in finance, but his true passion lies in music and creating unforgettable nights at karaoke.

A proud Bengals fan and devoted bearded dragon dad (to Dakota), Alex brings plenty of personality to the stage. He’s known for belting out Toby Keith songs, but he keeps the party rolling no matter what the crowd is singing.

With Alex on the stage, every night is guaranteed to be an experience.

Dave “MC Scroggins” Scroggins joined our karaoke host team after making a strong impression as a regular on the mic. A proud Marine veteran, Dave brings steady presence, quick humor, and a knack for picking the right song at the right moment.

You’ll hear plenty of country classics and modern favorites, with the occasional rap or hip-hop track to kick the party up a notch. One of his signatures is getting the crowd involved—group numbers with our regulars are common, and his duets with his son Alan always light up the room.
